Frigomag S.A.S., part of the Grupo Empresarial ALCA, is a bovine slaughter and meat processing plant located in Corregimiento La Lizama, Barrancabermeja-Bucaramanga highway (Km 25), in the heart of Colombia's Magdalena Medio region. Founded in 2006, our plant features state-of-the-art facilities compliant with Decree 1500 of 2007, INVIMA certification (code 505B) and all ICA export requirements.
With a processing capacity of 400 cattle per shift and over 2,500 solar panels in its complex, Frigomag has been recognized as “one of the largest in Santander” by Vanguardia newspaper and “the most complete slaughterhouse in the country” by Contexto Ganadero.
